Masterclasses at Oxcombe Pottery

Dr Sherratt is excited to be invited to conduct a series of Art Masterclasses at Oxcombe Pottery in 2026. She aims to share her extensive knowledge and experience across various mediums that she has gathered over the years.

“I am eager to share my skills with both beginners and more experienced artists, assisting them in cultivating their unique forms of creative expression. Learning or refining an artistic skill is a lifelong journey, one that allows you to develop and enhance your craft to create the artwork you aspire to make,” says Dr Elizabeth Sherratt.

All the Masterclasses will be held at the picturesque creative hub of Oxcombe Pottery, located in the Lincolnshire Wolds near Horncastle. This setting is perfect for experimenting with new creative ideas and exploring different mediums as you embark on your artistic journey. The Masterclasses will take place on weekends.

Drawing (1-day course) – Sunday 8^th March 2026

Mixed Media (1-day course) – Sunday 29^th March 2026

Oil Painting – Alla Prima and Traditional Oil Painting Techniques (2-Day course) – Saturday 11^th and Sunday 12^th of April 2026

Observational Drawing – Outdoors (1-day course) – Sunday 10^th May 2026
